1. The website and the Belay app

These terms cover this website only. Organizations that use the Belay app do so under a separate written agreement with us, which governs the app. If these terms and that agreement disagree, the agreement wins.

This website describes Belay in general terms. What we commit to an organization is in its agreement with us.

2. Using the website

You’re welcome to read, share and link to our pages. Please don’t:

• use the website to break the law;
• try to get into parts of the website or our systems that aren’t public, or test their security without our written permission;
• disrupt or overload the website, or send automated requests through our form;
• pretend to be someone else, or send us information you don’t have the right to share.

If you find a security problem, please tell us at sales@belay.health. We may block access for anyone who misuses the website.

3. What you send us

When you use our form or email us, please send only accurate information that’s yours to share. Don’t send health information, or personal details about your staff or residents. Our privacy policy explains how we handle what you send.

If you send us ideas or feedback about Belay, we may use them without owing you anything.

4. Our content

The website, including its text, design, graphics and the Belay name and wordmark, belongs to SABS Technology, LLC or to the people who license it to us. The photos and videos come from creators who share their work on Unsplash and Pexels; see our credits page.

You may view the website and share links to it. Please don’t copy, change or reuse our content, name or wordmark (for example, in a way that suggests we endorse you) without our written permission, except as the law allows.

If you think something on this website infringes your rights, tell us at sales@belay.health and we’ll look into it.

5. Information on the site

We work to keep the website accurate and current, but it may contain mistakes or fall out of date. It’s general information, not legal, financial, clinical or HR advice. Nothing on this website promises a particular result.

Industry figures on the site come from the public sources we cite. Our estimates, like the cost figures and the calculator on our turnover page, rest on the assumptions we state there, and your own numbers may differ.

6. Links to other websites

We link to other websites, such as the public sources behind our figures. We don’t control them and aren’t responsible for their content or how they handle your information.

7. Disclaimers

We provide the website “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We don’t promise the website will always be available or free of errors.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, SABS Technology, LLC won’t be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data, arising from your use of the website, even if we were told they were possible. Our total liability for any claim related to the website is limited to $100. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

9. Your responsibility

If you misuse the website or break these terms and someone makes a claim against us because of it, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of that claim, including legal fees, to the extent the law allows.

10. Governing law

California law governs these terms and any dispute about the website, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. If you have a concern, please contact us first so we can try to sort it out. Any dispute will be decided in the state or federal courts in Los Angeles County, California, and you and we agree to their jurisdiction.

11. Changes

We may change these terms. When we do, we’ll post the new version here and update the date at the top. The new terms apply from then on; if you keep using the website, you accept them. We may also change or stop offering any part of the website at any time.

12. General

These terms and our privacy policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the website. If part of these terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don’t enforce a term right away, we can still enforce it later. We may transfer these terms to a company that takes over our business; you may not transfer them without our permission.
